The Problem

Task management and team workflow were being impacted, and we needed a way to track and manage those. While using other open source platforms (JIRA, Trello, Teams etc) certainly helped productivity, our team wanted to add more features to make the process of team and work management more personalized and interactive.

The Solution

Our very own in-house platform called Inquidsitive (a play on the word ‘inquisitive’, with QUIDS), it:

  • Focuses on internal productivity and team behavior tracking
  • Blends task management with team accountability metrics
  • Emphasizes transparency, ownership, and collaboration
  • Is built for structured teams where visibility and engagement are key

Features

Team presence tracking

  • Real-time availability status of team members displayed (Signed in, Away, Signed out).

Value add logging

  • Positive or negative contributions of team members recorded.

  • Points for each action  reflected on a team leaderboard to encourage transparency and performance awareness.

Project and task management

  • Create and manage projects with context
  • Include links, documents, and notes for all collaborators to access up-to-date project information.
  • Rich text editing for detailed input.

  • Tasks dynamically update with color-coded urgency cues based on due dates.

User role management

  • Robust admin controls allowing super admins to manage users
  • Assign roles (Reporter, Admin, Super Admin), and control access across the platform.
